Flashpoint Mediation offers the services of Shirish Gupta, a tenacious yet creative mediator. Shirish specializes in complex and challenging disputes, yielding an impressive 80% resolution rate. He conducts mediations throughout California from Flashpoint’s Bay Area, Orange County and Sacramento centers.
One party to a case Shirish mediated commented “Shirish was extremely effective as a mediator. He came across as a competent, resilient and a knowledgeable professional.” ”He remained undaunted in the face of the occasional emotional outbursts of the parties.” He’s also been described as “a master mediator,” “highly skilled,” “empathetic without losing efficiency,” “professional but relaxed,” and “unbiased.” Another said, “On the eve of trial, the parties remained substantially apart. Mr. Gupta demonstrated patience in helping both sides understand not only the strengths, but also the weaknesses in their respective positions.”
Shirish has experience with complex cases, multi-party mediations, class actions, insurance carriers and unrepresented parties.
Shirish has mediated a diverse array of employment disputes, including employment discrimination (age, sexual orientation, racial, developmental and physical disabilities, pregnancy), wage and hour/misclassification, and retaliation.
